Här är en recension och intervju i norra Västerbotten (den publicerades i Västerbottens Kuriren också), om min senaste utställning, jag är särskilt nöjd med tolkningen av mina verk.
Jag sålde förresten till Västerbottens Läns Landsting och Umeå kommun, det är jag glad över, då får fler människor se min konst, och jag kan dela med mig av det jag älskar.
Jag kommer snart att lägga till bilder från utställningen på min webbsida och nya bilder på smycken, men inte nu jag har fullt upp med min utställning på hantverk och Design mässan här i Reykjavik som blir i slutet på månaden.

Cirque De Soleil
I dag har jag målat en ny röd målning, en man som lyfter upp en kvinna över sina axlar, den är inspirerad av Cirque de Soleils luftbalettnummer.

Burning love
Den här ringens Design är inspirerad av låtarna Burning love - Elvis Presley och Sugar in my Bowl med Nina Simone, en kung och en drottning som sjunger om kärlek och passion. Hjärtat är en stor lab rubin som ligger i en skål av sterling silver som på ett effektfullt sätt återkastar ljuset och färgen av ädelsenen. Jag inspireras ofta av musik och text av alla slag i min konst och mina smycken.

Jewellery as an fine art
To make jewellery is an fine art in expanding.
The idea of fine art is that it is not only a technique as ( some traditional examples) sculpture and painting.
To make sculpture or painting is a method of expression, and so are the Designer jewellery making today too!
But not All jewelleries are Art!
What does the Fine art of jewellery making any different than other just Bijouterie-trash?
If you compare a well produced painting of a skilled artist thats well known to mass produced posters you get the idea.
One is done with a deep sense of thought and feelings, and created with a lot of effort, the other is a product to decorate a empty space. The price and status of the product is- as a well known Designer's clothes are more expensive than than a fresh designer that makes his/hers at home sown clothes, its the same in Designer jewellery field as you maybe all ready know-You pay for the Designerbrand! What kind of precious metals or gems are used are not important at all, even if the price of production are higher.
Soo... what to choose from the never-ending stream of jewelleries?
Think like this- what do I like to buy- WHO am I?
Beacuse as the clothes tell everyone who you are, so does the jewelleries.
The First Impression Counts!!! Not the sooo beautiful inside of the human soul- You have to Show and Express Your Attitude on the outside too, so people get the correct impression... ok, Dont you agree?
Most people want to be in fashion, of course.
But no one want to look like 1000 000 others thats "in fashion" just copying Paris Hilton eh?
Start to be creative in expressing Your Style!
Forget about being in fashion, Out of Fashion is IN!!!!
